MCare Solutions, Inc. Founder – David Jupp

MCare Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2005 by David Jupp, a 25+ year veteran in the healthcare industry with experience in revenue cycle operations with hospitals, physician groups, home healthcare providers and consulting firms. 

During his career, David held numerous management and interim management positions with acute care hospitals ranging from 150 beds to multi-hospital central business offices nationwide, from Arizona to Florida to New York.

During his 10+ consulting years, David’s revenue cycle consulting engagements included responsibility for all aspects of the hospital revenue cycle including turnaround initiatives and HIPAA restructuring. 

He has served Catholic Health East Central Business Office (Philadelphia, PA), Pittsburgh Mercy Medical Center (Pittsburgh, PA), Yavapai Regional Medical Center (Prescott, AZ), Catholic Health Services (Long Island, NY), Mercy Medical Center (Des Moines, IA), St. Vincent Medical Center (Little Rock, AR) and Boca Community Hospital (Boca Raton, FL).  David held permanent positions with Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia as the Director, System Receivables and with St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio as the Director, Patient Accounting. 

David’s nationwide engagements offered him experience with numerous patient accounts systems and fiscal intermediaries.  It was during the most recent engagement at Boca Raton Hospital that he recognized the need for transfer DRG reimbursement recovery services that would ensure providers were receiving the reimbursement dollars that they were owed, and needed. 

David recognized that need, and developed the solution that is now known as MCare Solutions, Inc.

From non-existence, MCare now provides transfer DRG reimbursement recovery services to more than 300 hospitals across the country and has realized more than $75 million in reimbursements.

Dave continues to serve as the President of MCare and lives in Houston, Texas.
