MCare was the first provider of transfer DRG reimbursement services.  MCare’s experience in realizing Medicare fee-for-service reimbursement dollars has led to the development of additional transfer DRG reimbursement recovery services for Medicare Advantage claims.  More recently, MCare began analyzing Medicare Advantage admission records for teaching hospitals in order to submit IME / GME claims and began analyzing Commercial admissions for needed corrections to Medicare Advantage payer classification.
 
Additionally, in accordance with appropriately applying the 3-Day Payment Window regulations, MCare provides underpayment reimbursement resulting from erroneously bundled charges from same-day ER to inpatient admissions.
